Maneesh Sagar, Chairman & CEO

Maneesh is a serial entrepreneur, VC, and coach. He is also the founder of Thynk Ventures, an early stage VC, investing in AI, IoT, machine learning, and process automation. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a BA in Economics (Magna Cum Laude) from Ohio Wesleyan University, where he was a Presidential Scholar.

He has a history of investing in, and scaling up disruptive startups.  He was the Co-Founder of NeuVis (acq by IBM-Rational) where he raised over $80 million and grew the company to over 350 employees. At Huntington House, he created the first online sustainable development marketplace. At MondoWindow, he setup the worlds first browser based moving map #IFE company, and at Sirl.io, he made retail searchable.

He was Managing Director at Connecticut Innovations, where he invested in mobile, enterprise software, marketing automation, and IOT.  Investments and advisory roles include Frevvo, Keisense (acq by Nuance), NetKey (acq by NCR), ROI (acq by Revionics), Premise (acq by Eclipsys), SilverSky (acq by BAE Systems) ShopText (acq by Anomaly), HigherOne (NYSE) and SmartEquip.

Maneesh is an Innovation Fellow and a Founding Career Coach at Columbia Business School, where he teaches classes on startups, venture capital, conductsindustry panels, advises students and alumni one-on-one, and leads global trips. He also advises the Lang Entrepreneurial Center, W. Edward Deming Center and judges the Columbia Venture Competition.

Tom Diamond, President

Tom is President of Remote Sensing Metrics, with a focus on business development and strategic alliances.

Tom’s brings his extensive experience as a strategic advisor to corporate managers and institutional investors, operational experience, and background in engineering and product development, provide a deep understanding of how technology and data-driven analysis can benefit business decision-making.

Prior to RS Metrics, Tom was a Director with Stax, Inc., a corporate and investor strategy consulting firm, where he led and managed relationships for eight years with major corporations, leveraged buyout firms and their portfolio companies, and hedge fund clients. His work often revolved around quantifying and forecasting behaviors of customers and markets to support major decisions for growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and public equities trading. Previously, Tom was co-founder of Fulcrum Systems, an enterprise software company using massive data sets for design and ongoing optimization of complex corporate telecommunication networks, where he served as Vice President of Marketing. Fulcrum was acquired in 2003 by a telecom carrier-focused channel partner looking to expand its offering to enterprise clients. Tom began his career as a design engineer for mobile communications devices, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Arj Wignaraja, Managing Director – RS Metrics Asia

As Managing Director for RS Metrics Asia, Arj is responsible for analysis and synthesis of remote sensing data, company specific data, and macroeconomic data that form the core of our subscription and custom event-based products.   Arj also leads day-to-day management and skills development of our data analyst teams, quality control, and technology and systems architecture and operations.

Before RS Metrics, Arj was a Managing Director with Stax, Inc., a corporate and investor strategy consulting firm, where as head of the Colombo, Sri Lanka office, he led oversight of all output, quality control, and integration with U.S. operations, as well as leading a wide range of client projects and managing select client relationships.   Formerly, Arj was with The Boston Consulting Group, where he helped formulate business strategies for Fortune 500 clients in financial services and industrial goods.  Arj has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BA in Economics, with honors, from Princeton University.

Rashmi Bomiriya, PhD, COO – RS Metrics Asia & Chief Data Scientist

As the COO for RS Metrics, Rashmi is responsible for executing RS Metrics’ business strategy and ensuring operational excellence globally. She is also the Chief Data Scientist for RS Metrics and is responsible for designing and developing analytical products that combines internal and external data to generate actionable insights, continuously expanding data science capabilities within the organization, guiding the diverse product development team consisting of Software Engineers, Data Scientists and System Support Analysts etc.

Rashmi holds a PhD in Statistics from the Pennsylvania State University and a BSc Special Degree in Statistics, with honors and the gold medal for the best student in Statistics, from the University of Colombo. Prior to pursuing her PhD,  Rashmi was an Associate Vice President at Amba Research Lanka (Pvt) Ltd (Now Acuity Knowledge Partners), a financial services provider for Wall Street clients, where she implemented novel portfolio optimization algorithms, change detection algorithms as well as trained and managed a group of quantitative analysts.  She also served as an online instructor for graduate level Statistics courses for Penn State World Campus for several years. Currently, she is also a member of the Board of Management for Center for Data Science, University of Colombo.

Vishal Thiruvedula, Head of Product

Vishal is the Head of Product at RS Metrics. Prior to joining RS Metrics, he was a Lead Analyst with the Commodities Research team at Refinitiv based in London. He joined Refinitiv in December of 2015 and oversaw both dry bulk and freight analysis. Prior to Refinitiv he worked at Castleton Commodities International and Barclays. Vishal graduated with a Masters in Energy, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, University of London.

Nilosha Pereira, Head of Global Operations – RS Metrics Asia

As Head of Global Operations, Nilosha is responsible for day to day management of the team, overseeing operations, managing deliverables, guiding product design and implementation processes, handling custom projects, overseeing skills development of the team, engaging in all critical business operations and maintaining the CRM/Marketing communications.

Nilosha brings over a decade of industrial experience and he holds an MBA from London Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT).

Chas Reese, Director – Sales

Chas is the Director – Sales at RS Metrics. Prior to joining RS Metrics, he was a Global Account Manager at Fastmarkets where he assisted clients across the supply chain with integrating commodity price data and forecasts into workflows. He worked closely with senior level management to ensure commodity data and forecasts matched the needs of their business in order to optimize sales and procurement operations. He joined Fastmarkets in March 2008 and oversaw their key accounts business. Prior to Fastmarkets he worked at Euromoney with a focus on capital markets. He is a graduate of Siena College and Universidad de Granada with a degree in History.

Richard Anfang, Senior Advisor Technology

Richard is a technology executive with over 30 years of experience working in global financial service organizations. He has held senior management positions as a business-aligned Chief Information Officer, managed enterprise technology infrastructure, and partnered closely with C-level executives. Richard has an extensive track record delivering innovative technology solutions to solve business problems within the financial services sector.

Most recently, he worked at JPMorgan Chase where he was Chief Architect of the firm’s Global Technology Infrastructure organization. From 2013 to early 2014, he was the Chief Information Officer of JPMorgan’s Asset Management business. He was responsible for the business’ strategic leadership of technology, overseeing over 3,000 technologists globally spanning the firm’s global Investment Management and Private Bank businesses. From 2008 to 2012, he was the Chief Information Officer of JPMorgan’s Worldwide Securities Services business.

Prior to joining JPMorgan, he spent over 24 years at Morgan Stanley. During that time, he held a number of senior Information Technology positions including Chief Technology Officer of the Prime Brokerage business, global head of the firm’s Enterprise Infrastructure group, head of Equity and Fixed Income Sales & Trading applications development, and Chief Information Officer of Morgan Stanley’s UK and European businesses.

Richard has an extensive track record of delivering innovative solutions and solving business problems in the financial services industry. He has served on the advisory board of several technology service providers and has participated in numerous industry forums and committees.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania (1983) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan (1981).

Mitchel Ingham-Barrow, Senior Advisor EMEA

Mitchel brings more than 25 years of experience in the metals industry with positions at Metal Bulletin, Fastmarkets, and Thomson Reuters. As the first electronic sales executive at Metal Bulletin, he was responsible for the creation of their web presence and ultimately became their Head of Online Strategy, Development, and Sales. After 11 years at Metal Bulletin, he joined Fastmarkets as Sales Director when it was still a small web-based disruptor. Mitchel then joined Thomson Reuters as Global Head of Metals and Mining, where among other responsibilities, he helped launch their new research business. He also spent three years in Asia. Prior to coming to RS Metrics, he help create their complete supply-chain risk proposition.

Martin Kremenstein, Senior Advisor Indexes / ESG

Martin is a recognized ETF industry expert who brings two decades of financial markets experience to RS Metrics where he will help launch financial products. His experience includes thirteen years in the ETF industry where he focused on designing and building ETF franchises at large institutions. Most recently, Martin spearheaded the entrance of Nuveen into the ETF market with a platform centered around ‘three pillars’ of income, responsible investing, and alternatives/real assets. Martin brought Nuveen’s platform to market within a year of joining the firm in late 2015. Shortly thereafter, Nuveen’s ETF business won “New ETF Issuer of the Year” in the 2016 ETF.com Awards.

Prior to Nuveen, Martin worked at Deutsche Bank where he led his team in designing and launching what is now the DWS X-Trackers US ETF business. As of his 2015 departure from Deutsche Bank, their ETF business was $17.5bn in AUM and the 10th largest ETF issuer in the US. Additionally, he worked on their PowerShares DB platform, which was sold to Invesco in early 2015. At its peak, the PowerShares DB managed $16bn in currency and commodity strategies.

Annelise Osborne, Senior Advisor Capital Markets

Annelise is a finance executive with over 20 years of experience in finance, commercial real estate, fintech, and investing.  Her focus is on capital markets efficiency through data and automation.  Most recently, Annelise was COO of Propellr, a fintech broker dealer focused on efficiency and transparency in structured finance through blockchain technology.  Prior to Propellr, she was Managing Partner at Osborne Capital Partners working with PE, hedge and family office funds to develop new business lines, acquisitions, and credit investments as well as state governments on ESG projects.  Annelise spent 12 years with Moody’s Investor Service running ratings teams within the commercial real estate finance group and global investor outreach initiatives.  She has worked in the UK, Eastern Europe and the US.  Annelise is active in numerous industry organizations, corporate governance initiatives, and guest lectures at universities.  Annelise currently is an Advisor to Global Debt Registry which focuses on efficiency in the structured credit market.  She holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from The College of William and Mary.

Peter Neumann, Senior Advisor Commodities

Peter has more than 34 years of institutional financial, commodity ,and global trading experience. He held senior positions in the OTC sales and trading groups at Phibro-Salomon Inc. and JP Morgan Chase, covering commodities and commodity linked structure sectors. Over Peter’s career he was responsible for risk management, portfolio allocations, trading and product integration across multiple asset classes and was an integral part of leading and achieving firm revenue, business development, and league table ranking goals. Peter retired from JP Morgan Chase as an Executive Director, head of Americas OTC metals sales. He has been President of MPN Advisory, a  risk management consulting firm since 2012. He is a Founding Partner & CEO at Chrome Strategies Management LLC.
