RS Metrics is looking for a passionate technology-focused Vice President of Financial Partnerships. This individual will have a proven track record in managing partnerships and closing B2B sales with large partners. Reporting directly to the CEO, they will manage our portfolio of financial partners which include Bloomberg, Nasdaq / Quandl, CME, and FactSet amongst others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and closing new business with existing partners, with aggressive monthly and quarterly goals
  • Managing a strong partnership pipeline, sales forecasts, and updating partners to support revenue growth
  • Selling RS Metrics’ satellite imagery-based data, applications, and alerts to large and mid-sized customers in manufacturing, industrials, and asset management.
  • Ability to develop the strategic goals and tactical plans necessary to identify, prospect, and connect with targeted accounts
  • Helping partners manage and cultivate relationships with their clients to support continued sales growth
  • Becoming a domain and SME for all RS Metrics products and solutions
  • Conducting online and onsite presentations with partners to demonstrate RS Metrics product offerings
  • Participating and networking at partner events and trade shows
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of partnership materials and programs

This position will require the following background and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (MBA or Technical degree preferred)
  • 7 to 10 years of proven full cycle B2B business development and partnership experience in data analytics and / or enterprise software.
  • A proven and verifiable track record of achieving or exceeding sales and partnership goals and a demonstrated experience achieving a $2 million partner sales quota
  • Ability to interface with all levels within partner organizations (technical, sales, business development)

  • Selling RS Metrics’ satellite-imagery based AI and Machine Learning predictive datasets, applications, and alerts to large customers in manufacturing, industrials, and asset management
  • Ability to develop the strategic goals and tactical plans necessary to identify, prospect and connect with targeted accounts
  • Managing and cultivating relationships with existing clients to support continued sales growth within key Global 2000 accounts
  • Learn & advance expertise of technical concepts as required for selling complex platform/product

Requirements, background, and experience:

Sales Development Representatives are driven individuals who focus on generating and qualifying new business opportunities for our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research new markets, build a pipeline of potential leads, and nurture relationships using Hubspot, LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • Be the face of RS Metrics –  you will be the first point of contact to engage with our potential customers
  • Become an expert on our brand, business, and our AI-driven geospatial platform
  • Identify points of contact within target companies and reach out to prospective clients via outbound calls, emails and social media
  • Make an average of 60 outbound calls to prospects daily with the goal of scheduling platform demos and/or meetings for the team
  • Qualify new leads and follow up on warm leads, own your pipeline
  • Nurture relationships with potential customers
  • Meet and exceed quarterly targets
  • Stay current on industry news and understand the geospatial insights landscape

We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial and able to work autonomously when needed; someone who can get things done. Specifically coordinating our partner focused Go To Market and Business Development strategy as we enter our next phase of growth. We currently count the world’s largest hedge funds, rating agencies, metrics providers and exchanges as our partners. Experience in Data Analytics, ESG, Commodities, and knowledge of financial products (ETFs and Indexes) is preferred. Experience in business development, marketing or launching new ventures a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalize the scope of ESGSignals and highlight the value proposition of ESGSignals for specific target markets (most of these are clients and partners) such as ESG Index Providers, ESG Ratings Providers, ESG Metrics Providers, ESG Corporate Users and Large Consulting Companies
  • Research opportunities for collaboration with the ESG ratings, metrics, data & analytics providers
  • Work closely with the team on the ongoing negotiations with clients and partners for joint product development & data integration
